MTI: Who are you? What do you do? Where do you live?
Shi: I am an analytical chemist with a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Alberta, Canada. I have been living with my family in San Francisco, California since 1999, and had been working for an leading analytical service company serving semiconductor industry since that time. The last position I held there was the Director of Technologies.
MTI: What made you decide to become a Forex trader?
Shi: One day in early January, I was looking for stock and option trading educational opportunities and accidentally came across an email from MTI for a free Forex trading seminar. I decided to join the seminar to see what Forex trading was all about.
The seminar was hosted by Josh Martinez and Kevin Harrington (the “shark”) and introduced MTI’s Ultimate Trader’s Package. Encouraged by Josh’s professional analysis of the market and MTI’s money back guarantee, I decided to give it a try. You can imagine what happened after that. I started purchasing one MTI course after another until I had the confidence to start Forex trading on my own. MTI: Why did you choose Josh Martinez as a mentor?
Shi: As I mentioned previously, discovering Josh was quite accidental. But I was deeply impressed by his skilled technical analysis and profound understanding of the Forex market. As a former technical leader of a service company, I think you can understand that I highly respect and admire a subject matter expert who demonstrates vast knowledge, deep understanding and superior technical competence for the Forex market. That person is Josh Martinez.
Later, as I grew more and more familiar with Josh and his work, I realized he is one of the few analysts who wholeheartedly cares about the students, and who is willing to go the extra mile for students to realize their success…even from the very beginning. The only other person I had the same feeling about is the FX Chief, Jared Martinez, but he is too popular and too busy. Naturally, I chose Josh as my mentor.
MTI: How much have you made from your investment?
Shi: So far I have invested approximately $20,000 in MTI courses and events. My profit from Forex trading is probably over $30,000. Considering I have never traded Forex before February, I think this is quite phenomenal, with big thanks to MTI and particularly to the FX Chief and Josh Martinez.
MTI: What are you going to do with all of your investment earnings?
Shi: Since I am now retired, Forex trading will be my primary source of income. My goal is to achieve the same level of income as when I was working, which was over $150,000 annually. Now with Josh and MTI’s help, I am off to a good start. There is still a long road ahead to reach that goal, but I’m sure this is the right path and with MTI’s help I’ll get there in time.
