In his position as Chief Product Officer at Market Traders Institute, Dr. Chip Pike strives daily to provide MTI students with the best possible learning experience. With him, he brings decades of knowledge and experience as a high-level executive in business and education. Chip is an innovative, self-motivated individual whose determination helps him “do the right thing” in every situation he encounters. He values and encourages lifelong learning to support MTI’s core value “grow or die.”
Before breaking into the business scene, Chip spent years as a marine biologist conducting hands-on research on the behavior and physiology of sharks and serving as a professor at several universities. Today, he works just as hard to help provide students with the superior education and cutting-edge products they’ve come to expect from Market Traders Institute.
Chip holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Prince George’s Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science and Biology from the University of South Carolina, Master of Science in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina, and a Ph.D. in Fisheries Science and Statistics from the University of Miami.
